Well now, for those of you who were unable to attend The Matthew Delooze talk at Leicester, on Saturday, all I can say is that you missed out on a wonderful day.

The vibes were really good and it was nice to meet up with some new people and to see some familiar faces too. Matthew conducted his talk, with his usual down to earth northern style. Which as a fellow northerner, always makes me feel completely at ease. Free tea, coffee and biscuits were flowing throughout the event.

A mass "war grave" containing the skulls of 45 people dating back to Roman times has been uncovered as work begins on a new road being built to a 2012 Olympic venue.
